This palm-muted reggae guitar pluck sample pack consists of over 4,000 samples meticulously sampled by DM Kahn for ultimate realism. It includes raw and processed captures of his Gibson Les Paul Special with P90s on 38 notes (over 3 full octaves). There are 3 captures: DI (so you can use any amp simulator you want), his Mic'd up Fender Princeton PRRI, and his mic'd up hand-made Tweed Deluxe (Fender 5E3 tube amp clone). To ensure a high level of realism, Kahn recorded each note multiple times, both down plucks and up plucks. He then the picked three recordings that sounded most similar and used those as the final samples. When it came to programming, Kahn took those three down and up plucks for each note, and programmed them as 'round robins' which is a fancy way to say the samples cycle as to not sound like a machine gun any time you play a note more than once consecutively. The down plucks are triggered and cycled when you play a note on or above 111 velocity, and the up plucks are triggered and cycled when you play a note under 110 velocity. This lets you play up and down plucks quickly and allows for some serious realism. Not only did Kahn capture all of that, he also included the above articulation in FOUR different note lengths. Within the pack there are varying pluck lengths from long, medium, short, and very short versions.

This sample pack comes with programmed samplers in both Logic (works in Logic 10+) and FULL Kontakt (Kontakt Full 5+). This is by far DM Kahn's most in depth pack, with the highest level of detail and innovation.
